Lisa and I have attended a good friend of hers "Church Lady" group where I am the only heterosexual male in attendance with about 10 or so women. We recite the readings for the upcoming Sunday and with some discussion materials try to find meaning or application in our everyday lives. Yes, we get the kind of "holy roller" responses about how Jesus did this and did that for them but all in all it is a favorable experience at least for me. The communal experience alone is "Church" and if we stale Catholics can do only one thing in our lives to practice our faith it should be to be communal with others and yes even with the occasional unpleasant stranger in our lives.Bingohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11587509881205305833noreply@blogger.com
